Thank You


It is a strong belief of mine, and I have taught my kids this too, that you thank and give honor to those that have been a part of your life.  I realize I am the one leaving the position, and that they are honoring me, but it is always good to tell people they mean something to you.

I really will miss my coworkers.  I know it's hard to imagine :-) but I have not always been popular in the office.  I am one of 2 extroverts and I am the loudest.  So from time to time I am reminded to be quiet.  I felt at times a little bad, but I know I am loud.  Someone just like me can get me going.  And there's one that I was sure just tolerated me.  That's OK.  Not everyone's the same. I gave her one of these Thank You cards and she hugged me.  Could have I been wrong for years?  What matters is leaving everyone knowing I appreciated them.  

Tomorrow is my final day.  No turning back but then why would I?  It is what it is... time to go.

Leon - Family

We have two kitties.  You've met Toby.  This is Leon.  We rescued him in 2011.  He'll be 12 years old.  He's has been nervous and scared all his life.  We actually found him hiding under his little box in his cage.  It took him years to be truly loving towards us.  He acts like a big brother to Toby.  You can find them playing at 5 am, or Leon licking Toby's face, or Leon backing off his food so Toby can have some.  He loves to go to curl up with Kari or lay at the foot (on top) of my bed.  He's our senior cat.  We love him ❤️

Brady's Flowers

Riley started something with giving flowers.  Today Brady and I (Brady drove) to Trader Joe's and he bought his friend Angel some flowers.  It was all him.  He thought Riley was a good roll model.  He'll give them to her tomorrow at a BBQ at her family's house.

Out With Riley

We're back to sideways photos. With Riley being so busy, I have to make a time to spend with him.  He'll be 22 at the end of this month and his time is limited.  I will become worse but for today I plan to enjoy what I have today. We went to Enumclaw for lunch.  We went to the Griffin Brewery.  It was nice.  Kind of pricey.  Next time we'll try to go to the other brewery there.   We also stopped by Pennies From Heaven thrift store.  They have great prices.  I found a hurricane lamp, a birthday angel, and basket. I have to go back. Karis off the 19th, we might go then. We had a great time and one to remember.
