On this day, three years ago I was sent home with a laptop and a few items from work to help me get by for a few weeks. I drove home to set up a make shift desk until the Corona Virus passed through our community like the flu. I remember being parked in my driveway looking at spring blooming but that was the only sense of normal I could feel.
Covid didn't pass. It stayed, and we worked remotely at home for two and a half years. We will forever be changed from this tragic experience. There are lessons we learned as well. For me, this was truly a Friday the Thirteenth.
