BBQ with Young at Heart

We had a BBQ with Young at Heart today.  It was at the Memorial Park.  I sat with Renee and her son.  We played a game.  Ate.  Then I had to go early to meet up with the electrician.  We got our outlets fixed.

Brady will be gone 3 days then he'll be home.  Toby will be happy his buddy is back.

Christmas Time

The fall season of orange, gold, and brown is suddenly over.  Pumpkins are put away.  But we continue to give thanks. It's been a lovely autumn.  October was brilliant with color in the trees.  November has been subdued but cozy.  Beautiful sunny days were gorgeous. Kari has been sick this week and didn't go to work Tuesday and Wednesday.  She's been left alone to sleep.   We are looking forward to decorating for Christmas.  We already had a few Christmas things out mixed in with the Thanksgiving decorations at our house.

Catching Up

Sunday was a really busy day.  I felt it was time to return to church in person and all 4 of us were there.  I introduced my family to my friends. Next was Costco to get Regan's cake for her grad party. At 2 pm we were at Tim and Angie's at the party.  It was great seeing everyone again.   Monday I got tires and an oil change for my car.  We also checked on the rebate we got in September.  I have to call the Refund Center tomorrow. Today I got the $189 rebate and off to Lowe's we went.  We bought things for the house and garden.  I plan to plant seeds tomorrow.
