January


I feel like this cat looks waiting for spring.  In the meantime, we're trying to doing things to get through January and February.  At least the mornings become lighter around the 10th of February around here.  That lifts the spirits.  

This weeking in beading I am organizing my beads.  I've been looking on YouTube and Pintrest to get inspiration.  I thought one day would organize my beads, but no,  I am sending away for more containers.  I will probably need more.  This may go into next week too.  And if it does, who cares?  I am retired.

Yesterday the bible study group came back from after the holidays.  Today, Young at Heart did.  I was glad to see my friends again.  I am thinking of starting square dancing on Tuesdays.  

Tomorrow I meet Renee for breakfast in Sumner.  😀

Didn't post yesterday but I was going to mention how beautiful this time of year is.  September with summer slipping away and long shadows, October is brilliant with color, and November is subtle and subdued with coziness.  As the wind or rain chases out the last of the leaves, one can see winter coming in.  I am grateful for this time of year and enjoy each moment.

Snow or No Snow?

Wednesday I went to Women's Bible Study and yesterday I went to Young at Heart.  I have been working on organizing my beads, which is a lot. We had snow flurries last night.  Friday should be very cold.  Not knowing how the snow will be, I didn't yet put in a grocery order.

Celebrating Brady

Saturday evening the family met up at Magenta's house.  I met her lovely dog and cat.  Saw Darian, Savanna, Bella, Marcia, Kenny, Colleen, and Magenta.  We spent 2 hours talking.  The kids worked on a puzzle.  I had a birthday gift for Bella. Sunday was Brady's birthday celebration at Round 1 at the mall.  We left the boys there and Debra, Kari, and I went to Claim Jumpers for lunch.  It was sooooo good.  I had a Cobb Salad with chicken and a Diet Coke.  Debra shared Spinach Dip and a plate of roast Brussel Sprouts.  Yum. Debra is quiting her job because Don now will be working a job for $7,000 a week.  Oh my goodness! Riley tried food in the food court from the Hamburger Shack plus others.  He praised and praised the food he ate.  He's such a foodie now.  And cooks well himself. Good day
