Halloween Train - Throwback Thursday

The boys on the Halloween Train in Snoqualmie was so fun then.  There is this old train that runs between Snoqualmie and North Bend that they decorate for Halloween, and the kids dress up in their costumes to go for a ride.  It runs from the SnoqualmieTrain Museum to North Bend which is about 5 miles away then goes back to Snoqualmie.  The train goes pass the musuem to the Snoqualmie Falls and parks for a few minutes to look at the falls.  Then it goes back to the station (museum).

Leon - Family

We have two kitties.  You've met Toby.  This is Leon.  We rescued him in 2011.  He'll be 12 years old.  He's has been nervous and scared all his life.  We actually found him hiding under his little box in his cage.  It took him years to be truly loving towards us.  He acts like a big brother to Toby.  You can find them playing at 5 am, or Leon licking Toby's face, or Leon backing off his food so Toby can have some.  He loves to go to curl up with Kari or lay at the foot (on top) of my bed.  He's our senior cat.  We love him ❤️

Goodbye August Hello September

Yesterday was Young at Heart.  Then the boys and I went to Denny's to get our birthday breakfast.  It was fun to spend time with both boys at the table. I believe we should do that more often.   I then dropped off library books and went to Trades Joes.  Later I took a good nap.  Wednesday I didn't do much at all.  I did begin to reassess goals extra due to the month and season changing.

Brady's Flowers

Riley started something with giving flowers.  Today Brady and I (Brady drove) to Trader Joe's and he bought his friend Angel some flowers.  It was all him.  He thought Riley was a good roll model.  He'll give them to her tomorrow at a BBQ at her family's house.
